First off, the front page of ClockworkGiantPandas.com has changed from an aging splash page to a supremely helpful Gelbooru installation! All the Spice and Wolf images I have will be right at your fingertips, and more (if others decide to pitch in and help out)! I hope you guys enjoy the change. More importantly, Spice and Wolf Season 2 Episode 1 is out in raw form and speedsubbed by Mazui. Grab that release. This is awesome: Chapter 7, the first chapter in Volume 2 of the Spice and Wolf manga, has been scanlated and released by a group named [Arc]. EDIT: There's ANOTHER group who's ALSO translating the manga named FoOlRulez. Stupid name, but it looks like they do good work. Really stupid name, actually. Difficult to remember. Looks like Funimation snapped up the publishing rights to Spice and Wolf Season 1. Good for them, eh? Good for us? We'll have to see. I'm only halfheartedly looking forward to buying more DVDs and merch...if they even make merch any more, what with animu companies going bankrupt left and right for absurd reasons (such as "no one is buying our shit"). Funimation Acquires Spice and Wolf Fantasy Anime Pass it along. The king has a new coat, and it's made of extremely high-quality fur. He won't say where he got it, though, or how much he paid for it. ;)

Guess we'll just have to find out, eh? The movie rocked, btw. Deadpool's "shh" at the end, finally what I wanted out of his mouth. Hopefully Marvel will pick up on this and make a movie for him. Fox can only do X-Men characters. Also, ASR isn't a sub group I'm familiar with, so I doubt their quality. Still, something might be better than nothing, unless something sucks, in which case nothing truly is better.

Are you pants getting progressively tighter? Mine are! Spice and Wolf Season 2's big reveal is coming soon (like day after tomorrow soon, in Japan at least), on April 30th! I'll be buying the "Visual Novel" it's packaged as off of fine internet retailers you probably don't know about, then getting it shipped via overseas express. I doubt I'll have it before someone uploads it to Share or PD, but at least I'll have a physical copy just in case. In a random thread on /a/ today, about someone's favorite books: Jacksonville: Gravity's Rainbow is the epitome of literary shit. Anonymous: I agree, but only if you mean that literally, because it's a great book. Jacksonville: It's like shit on paper in its organization, which makes it a horrible book. It's more like a trophy made out of tissues the author fapped into. A glorious achievement for him and whoever's sucked his dick, but to everyone else it's just a bunch of cum-stained pieces of paper. Mental masturbation and exhibition, if you will. The only explanation I have for people thinking it's amazing is that they can't comprehend how something so shitty could have possibly gotten published, or that they've never tried to write a novel themselves. Thought I'd let you guys know I'm a faggot. Toodle-loo.
