Heads up! It seems Horo's having a bit of a rough time dealing with the fanboy hoards voting for Moka in FAKKU's first round of MOTEMOTE finals. To be honest, though, I expect this much of FAKKU's circlejerking (literally?) fanbase nowadays. They wouldn't know a good animu if it took their virginity.

I, personally, don't care too much about the outcome. A victory for Horo here will just prolong her eventual, guaranteed defeat at the hands of some other series' idiot fans. A defeat this early in the finals wouldn't bother me either, it would just showcase the power of FAKKU's senseless fapping masses.

Fuck. This is the big package I paid about $100 to get shipped, due to how much stuff is inside it. Tons of Spice and Wolf stuff, you'll see. For now, share my pain. We'll have to wait until Monday.

Not long ago I posted Chapter 7 of Spice and Wolf's manga on /a/. I understand not all you doods troll /a/ 24/7, so here's a repoast in a glorious resolution: one hundred and fifty dots per inch. The original resolution was six hundred dots per inch. I halved the dimensions and resolution of the color and grayscale jpegs simultaneously, so no artefacts should have been artificially introduced. The magazine pages were debound using a Proctor-Silex electric iron and scanned using an Epson Printer/Scanner/Copier, model CX3810. I hope you enjoy my efforts.

Pretty Anon Scanlations plans on translating and editing that chapter, and if enough people bother me to scan Chapter 8 I might do it soon (I've already debound it once and scanned it really sloppily, but I wasn't happy with the results). Holy shit, they're finally here! It's like Christmas all over again, but less giftcards and more Horo! The two posters I ordered from FullSizePosters.com AND a box full of stuff I bought from Japan have finally arrived! Stay tuned, tonight I'll "unbox" them both, another first for me.

Sorry this took so long. A day or two of no updates really bothers me, but it probably doesn't bug you a bit, right? I fucked up the encode once and had to start over. Even now I'm not sure if the encode is proper, but it's the best I'm going to bother with. Pictures of all the Horo swag will come later. Here's the unboxing video on Vimeo for now!

The lack of 1080p Spice and Wolf raws, ripped from the Blu-ray release, disturbed me greatly. Thus, I took it upon myself to download and seed this: Spice and Wolf Episode 1, 1080p, h264. Enjoy!

Sorry for taking so long. Here's the delicious second episode of Spice and Wolf's Blu-ray release, encoded in succulent h264 (well, specifically the x264 encoder) at 1080p resolution, shoved inside a juicy MP4 container. Again, I did not encode this release, so don't come knocking on my door if it sucks nuts.

Juicy raws and fire-roasted nuts. Mmm, I can almost taste it...

I have episodes 3 through 11 ready to release too! One at a time, though, of course. Releasing them all at once would be a travesty. You can't marathon Spice and Wolf, at least not without regrets and misunderstandings. It is better to partake of the audio/video feast in slow, deliberately measured portions. Also, feel free to ask for help if you don't understand what happened in a certain episode. Economics isn't for everyone, obviously. ;)

I don't know why I tend to add exclamation points to the end of every headline I type, but I do. Would Lawrence do that? Probably not. Horo? Probably. What do you think? The comments system is enabled, you know. ;)

Looks like Funimation snapped up the publishing rights to Spice and Wolf Season 1. Good for them, eh? Good for us? We'll have to see. I'm only halfheartedly looking forward to buying more DVDs and merch...if they even make merch any more, what with animu companies going bankrupt left and right for absurd reasons (such as "no one is buying our shit").
